Summit Above the Clouds

I stand atop a jagged, rocky summit composed of rough, grey stone and scattered patches of dark green mountain grass. Below, a vast mountain range stretches toward the horizon, its rugged, brownish-black peaks piercing through a dense layer of white, billowing clouds. The sky above is a deep, clear blue, fading into a lighter hue near the distant, hazy horizon. The atmosphere is cool and thin, illuminated by the soft, directional light of a low sun. Thick banks of clouds drift steadily through the valleys and around the mountain slopes, swirling in slow, continuous patterns. The wisps of mist roll over the sharp ridges and recede into the depths of the canyons. Wisps of wind occasionally disturb the small tufts of grass at my feet, causing them to sway rhythmically against the stone.
